Nice location and excellent staff
It was to short a stay for all to see and do.
very comfortable and the staff are great
cafe was under renovations and i didn't get a partial lake view like i asked for.
Beautiful lodge in an amazing setting - right on the lake with the mountains as a pack drop. Staff was very nice and more than willing to help with anything. Amenities are great too!
I wanted to stay someplace that was visually lovely and upscale. It helps with the overall enjoyment and makes for better memories.
Every bit of it.We loved the lodge and hated to leave.
was beautiful facility and location and staff were great and very helpful
I was disappointd that there were no robes provided in our room, plus our ground floor room (in Viking) faced the common firepit and a grouo was sitting around the firepit when we first arrived and we felt in a fish bowl and had to close th e curtains which meant we didn't get to enjoy the scenery or the natural light. Would have asked to move but because our room was not ready until 4, we went up to Whitefish Mtn and didn't get back until 6.30 pm and felt like too much work to ask to be moved. It is a lovely facility though.......iin a lovely location and staff were very nice
The staff was incredible. We were greeted with smiles from the moment we walked in the front foyer. The smell from the fireplace was amazing and filled the lobby with warmth and relaxation. Immidiately you feel at home and welome. The rooms are fantastic. The beds are comfortable with duvet comforters, proper pillows, fireplaces, views and large bathrooms. WE LOVED IT! Fireplaces everywhere throughout the lodge with which we would sit by every morning with coffee and watch the deer.
The size of the rooms was excellent - lots of room - did not feel crowded
Didn't enjoy the cocktails in the bar - sounded good in the explanation but the taste was boring. The fact that you could not get food after 10 P.M. and on a Saturday evening we were asked to leave the bar at midnight even though we were not finished our drinks.
Large room sizes with large bathrooms. Classy place with free shuttle service around town.
Restaurant was a little pricey but the food was good.
Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Restaurant menu prices seemed high relative to quantity/value...this is coming from someone who lives in NYC.
location on lake; dining lakeside, on site spa, proximity to downtown White fish
We loved our stay at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Starting with our welcome by staff at the front desk, we found this hotel to be way beyond our expectations. With its spectacular location on the lake, the many amenities, our large room with huge bathoom, in the Viking part of the lodge, we could not have asked for more. The restaurant has a fantastic setting overlooking the lake, with reasonable prices and very good food. We will definitely return to the Lodge, and will recommend it to friends.
We loved everything about the Lodge at Whitefish Lake.
very cozy and nice hotel...the rooms were very nice
the fireplace in the rooms were nice, but it was way to hot. It would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature. We barely turned it on for that reason.I found the spa to be overpriced for the service you recieve. If I returned to the spa there would be services I would not get again, unless the price went down. And it was very disapointing that there was not an indoor pool and hot tub.
It's in a beautiful location. The restaurant and bar were great. The Viking pool and gym were both top notch.
We were given a partial lake view, when the Booked.net room I booked was clearly "lake view" (not the "partial" option). When I questioned it, they told me their verbiage was "lake front view", so my "lake view" booking was properly served since technically I could see a little lake from my balcony (this means that no matter which option you choose on Booked.net: partial lake or lake, it doesn't matter, they'll give you whatever they feel like). They did give us a free breakfast for the inconvenience. Oh, and also the gym and Viking pool were great, but they were a long walk away from our room, since we stayed in the main building.
The facilities inside and out were excellent. Finishes all around are high-end with interesting wildlife mounts and artwork. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is great with very nice views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Lots of activity and people around making it a fun stay in the evenings.
The kitchen was a good size but the fridge was TINY and didn't have a freezer. The kitchen was nearly empty with no dishes, utensils, or cups. A paid coffee bar with lots of selection is offered but no complimentary regular coffee. The place is setup to make it difficult to go to the grocery store and eat in during an extended stay. All this seems to be done intentionally to get people to buy food and drinks from the hotel restaurants.
